I was wondering if the lack of sugar or nitrates would mean bland or dry bacon. Nope! This bacon crisps up beautifully and has a rich, savory flavour with just the right amount of smokiness. It doesn’t get that weird chemical aftertaste some packaged bacon has and it doesn’t shrink down into nothing in the pan.

I also love that it's not overly salty, so it complements eggs, veggies or salads without overpowering them. It smells amazing while cooking, like real, wholesome bacon, not factory-processed meat.

Highly recommend this to anyone who cares about quality ingredients and still wants a truly satisfying bacon experience.

I recently bought Naked Butcher’s organic bacon. I can only say, it’s fabulous. A recent auto-immune diagnosis has forced me onto an anti-inflammatory diet, so processed foods, including most bacon brands are off the menu. During a Google search, I found this nitrate and sugar free organic bacon. I would never normally pay that much for bacon, but to have a little bit every now and then will make my new regime more bearable.
Ordering and pick-up was easy as a family member lives nearby.
